The Challenge
Unplugged is a business that hosts retreats for people who need to get away and rejuvenate from a busy, hectic work life. They also provide plant-based meals during the retreat to help nourish and improve people’s health. One problem they were having was that they were receiving a lot of calls from people inquiring about upcoming retreats and they didn’t know how they could effectively and efficiently provide the information. By regularly answering and returning calls that were mostly regarding the same topic interfered with the creative process of planning the retreats. They knew there had to be a better way to address the inquiries, while increasing their productivity in the planning process.
The Solution
After, strategizing with Unplugged on ways to improve their work life, just like they strive to do for other people and businesses, a variety of solutions were created. In order to provide an easy way for interested, potential customers to be updated on the destination and date of their next retreats a website was designed and created with the focus on getting people to easily sign up for their newsletter and to join their community. Now, not only can potential customers easily receive emails on upcoming retreats and sign up for them, they can also receive weekly emails to help motivate them, share stories, tips, and resources.
The Impact
After the launch of Unplugged’s new website they have received less calls in regards to getting more information about upcoming retreats and have been able to focus more on adding more value and activities for customers to their retreats. The number of retreat sign ups and sales have increased.
